Adding Xquery functions to the YAWL environment

Postby arigit » Thu Sep 22, 2016 10:20 pm

I have not seen any topics about this so I will ask now.

I have been working with another BPM tool that uses Query 3.01 also and we needed to add Functions to the xquery other then the standard.

For example we use these a lot: http://www.xqueryfunctions.com. The environment allows us to add these so we can easily start using them.

Is this possible in YAWL.

I can imagine this would enhance the YAWL environment.

Thanks

Yes, it is possible in YAWL.

YAWL uses the Saxon libraries to parse and evaluate XQuery expressions and functions, and so supports all functions supported by Saxon.
